MPS Analytic Rubrics for the Capacities
Describing what varying levels of success looks like for content goals can be tough, but it's especially difficult when we're talking about measuring the capacities that transcend content. That's why members of the district's Teacher Evaluation Committee and Curriculum Council worked hard on developing analytic rubrics for each of the fifteen 21st Century Capacities we've identified for Madison Public Schools. These rubrics are meant to be content agnostic--a guide for teachers of all subjects and grade levels that can be tailored to specific assessments and reflect the particular student learning goals of those assessments.
